We have made every form of furniture in addition to specialized millwork, small timber frame structures, gates, fences, outdoor furniture, garbage cans, lighting, shoji screens, fine art framing, cisterns, and even a bathtub.
A desire to pursue an artistic and creative career led us both to enroll in the Fine Furniture program at Camosun College.
We took the program a year apart and met a few years later at a woodworker’s guild meeting. Within a year we were sharing workshop space, and in 2002 formed Gelinas Carr Furniture.
We live and work on our five acre property in the Cowichan Valley just north of Duncan, BC. Private residential commission work is our main focus, working closely with our clients to build just about everything and anything.
